Commenting and Bubbl.us

January 13th, 2008

Congratulations once again 7th grade! The Ballads are amazing. Homework tonight is to comment on 3 classmates Ballads. The best part of this network is not once this year has anything inappropriately been written to a fellow student so……….I’ll leave it at that.

Task 2 A cool application program that is free and a big hit at the end of 2007, was Bubbl.us.

This program is similar to inspiration but better!!!!!!!!!

Your task is to sign up for a free account and create a Catherine Called Birdy Character map. At least 12 characters must be included with a short description for each outlining how they fit into the story. Once you have completed your cool mind map, save it as a jpeg and post to your blog.

Have I lost you yet? Check out Bubbl.us

Once you have completed your mind map it is time to place it on your blog. First you willsp32-20080114-133602.jpg need to export it as a jpeg.

This is done by clicking the menu button in bubbl.us in the bottom right hand corner and exporting it.

Once this is done it is easy….just upload the jpeg like you would any normal picture you have on file to your blog in the back end under where you write. sp32-20080114-134115.jpg

Call it CCB Mind map and write a quick review of your thoughts on Bubbl.us. Is it something you found easy to use?
