In a post on our Principals blog I discussed what an Rss feed was and how it can help you. Having set numerous parents up with this tool I think we would all agree that Netvibes is something we just couldn’t live without now.

It is such an easy way to be digesting a lot of information quickly and speeding up your time when connected. 5th grade here use it extremely well to read all of their students blogs. And finally I have all of the Elementary staff’s blogs on my Netvibes. After fishing around and playin, there are some really cool ways we can benefit from the work of gathering feeds done by others. I am still a little sceptical about my public page but I am sure it is just trying to find the time to digest it fully.

Now that I have my “sas tab” with 40 feeds from Elementary, instead of you setting this page up……just email me and I can share this with you. Saves a lot of time and effort on your behalf.

Likewise….if you have an interesting tab set up in Netvibes, by all means please share…I would love to hear from you….I am particularly interested in finding tabs that 5th graders could use……I would have thought there were more News feeds for kids out there but so far it has been tough going. I love education, cooking, social networking etc. Any links would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

This cool little firefox addon for Netvibes too, makes life oh so much easier when adding feeds…..and that’s what it is all about….making life easier!!!!!!
